I found a tool on Amazon for less than $10 that makes removal of the cylinder pressure sensor/glow plug boots easy - and it does so without damaging the boots.
Search for the following on Amazon: " Lisle 51250 Spark Plug Wire Puller ".
I provided a CR TDI review with pictures. It's inexpensive - and does a much better job of boot removal than using a bent flat-blade screwdriver. It provides even pressure around much of the boot's centerline, and allows easy boot removal from the center boot detent.
My #2 pressure sensor was triggering a ground fault fault. I ended up replacing all of them - even though it wasn't necessary.
