Guys,

I havent finished my timing belt yet but am at the point where I torque the rollers and large bearing and actually install the belt.

**> The timing belt had 92k on it and it is a 99.5 nb.
It looked like new and the rollers looked perfect. The crank was about 1/8th inch to the left of the arrow with the cam lock in looking in the witness hole.

The tensioner was a bit loose also. In fact the belt seemed sloppy loose.

One crank bolt had to be drilled out.
One valve cover bolt had to be drilled out.

Overall I appreciate all the help from you guys and especially Herm TDI. He send me enough supporting documentation to keep my printer real busy and make the job easier. This is not a job for the mechanically challenged.

Have a nice weekend .
