Hey Ladies & Gentlemen,
A couple of weeks ago, I put my key in the ignition, released the steering lock, and the key would not turn in the ignition.
Eventually got a car locksmith, who advised that barrel was ok, however, the housing unit had collapsed most probably.
Ordered said part and got a mate of a mate to fix, ( key locksmith went on holiday)which resulted in him inserting the barrel into the housing unit and subsequently in the wrong position which basically has locked the barrel in place and key will not turn into any position.
So the question is can the barrel be removed without damage to either part ?
Thanking you in anticipation
