Engine code 083303?

So on my carista app that i use for pulling codes, it tells me i have a: "Motor Control:
Engine (U01)
Sorry, there is no explanation available
Code: (038303) "
I can't, even with the holy google, find what this may be. The car has been religiously throwing a p2201 nox sensor code. Nox sensor is new, wiring recall done. Ive reset the light. Comes back. I'm starting to lean to an emissions component delete.

It sounds like its an interpretation problem with the carista app.

If you can, get it scanned with an actual VCDS (or something comparable) and let us know what it says.

While you may be right i got it also on another app which is why i thought Google may know. I'm dropping it off for the heater core problem this weekend and ill bring it up to the mech. I need to find someone with vcds in my area. NE North Carolina/ SE Virginia Chesapeake area. Is getting my own diagnostic junk worth it?

If you want to do much of your own maintenance—yes. Just don't make the mistake of getting "diagnostic junk." That is defined as "anything other than VCDS."
