Nice!! I'm from southeast michigan as well (new baltimore). I might have to take you up on your vag com to do some tweaking one of these days :)

I traded in my 2013 Tornado red TDI the other day on a GTI. It was a great car and I already miss the high mpg. The GTI is more fun though.

Thanks all for the replies! Now, let the modding begin!!

First up: get rid of that stupid looking battery blanket and get a proper plastic battery box. Ordered the parts from 1stvwparts.com for under $50

Others (in no particular order):
Add T/C button
Some kind of tune
Skid plate
DPF delete
Misfuel-ectomy

Any other suggestions?

2002 TDI (ALH) with 513,000 km. First Owner and very happy... No Problems, never left us stranded on the Highway. Average useage is about between under 4 ltr. and 5 ltr. Normal longdistance travel: 4.1/100
Super car. Now you can break it in!!! All the BEST with that ride.

Saw one exactly like it in OH, and nearly swiveled my head out of its socket! Beautiful, but unfortunately the boss wasn't impressed, aside from not being in the market for a new ride.
