how hard does it pull after 4000rpm on the hybrid? mine starts to tail off as you can feel the torque drop and boost wind back.

What psi does the car spike to and settle at under normal rpm and then at 4000rpm onwards?
i have peak power untill about 4250rpm according to the last 3 dynos i have had done. i normally change between 4000rpm and 4250rpm and power does die off a bit but it still pulls hard untill then. i have never really payed any attention to the boost gauge top end, but normally it'll spike at 30 and hold 27.

Do you mind clarifying which spacers you ended up running with your wheels? And they are the standard ET38 anni wheels, right?

Thanks!

20mm rear and 10mm front, wheels are ET38 and 7.5J and with 225/40 tyres i get a slight bit of rubbing sometimes on the rear.

I know the anni wheels specs well, just wanted to make sure that's what they were ;) :

What is your opinion on running 15mm front and rear? I'm wondering if I could find 15mm 5 x 112 adapters for a mkiv and run those.

Your car look fantastic!

15mm front would catch, i think 10mm front 15mm rear would be better, if i could find somebody to swap my 20mm spacers(H&R hubcentric incl bolts;)) for an equivalent set of 15mm spacers i would. just so i don't get any rubbing when carrying loads as i like to keep my car practical because its a daily drive

I think I read those are "Anniversary skirts". Are they the ones that match the air dam and rear valance? They look GREAT!! The whole car looks great. Will the skirts fit the mk4 jetta? I'm sure that the front and rear wont. I'm looking for something to fit my 02 jetta, not crazy bout the votex skirts.

anniversary, as in the 25th anniversary of the golf GTI, i think in the states it's know as a 337 or 20th AE.

here

the skirts are the same and they will fit the mk4 jettas too.

What kind of wheels are those off of? not the aftermarket 5 stars but the factory looking wheels with the vw emblem in the center.

great car...actually how HP is now? 200?
last 3 dynos i had were 213bhp/340lbft, 221bhp/320lbft and 230bhp/360lbft. all figures at the flywheel.

which ones?
these are from a skoda octavia VRS (17x7 ET38) , and the others are BBS RC (18x7.5 ET38) and in all pics i have spacers fitted (20mm rear and 10mm front)
