I am open to reasonable offers. I just want the car to continue to get the same love that I gave her.

That is a beautiful car, good luck with the sale.

I have to ask a few questions and can take them offline if you so prefer:

1) How do you like the gauges on the cluster? Are they dimmable? How was MoMan to deal with?

2) How did you change the window/seat switches to red?

3) Any negative issues with the rear spacers?

To answer the above questions;

1) I like the cluster gauges. I like the MK4 look, that is why I did it. It is 100% custom as Moman has there own faces.

2) The gauges are dimable with the stock light dimmer.

3) Moman was a little difficult to deal with due to the language barrier. They do have a English side, but it cost more, so I used a friend who speaks Polish to get it all for me. Save a few bucks.

4) Red coloured switches.... I would say a secret, but there is no secret. :) Had a friend pull them apart and change the LED's to red.

5) Spacers.... I have no problems with the spacers. It all depends on your stance if spacers are going to work for you. Each to there own set up.

I did try to make a one of a kind ride, but now that I have completed the package, it is time to pass the love on.

Cheers,

Brian

The rear fogs and headlight washers alone are worth so much in the dark north.

The variation in the milage was due to the IP starting to loose time. So, time to rebuild, which was done in April of 2013. At the same time, I rebuilt and installed larger tips on the injectors.

The car is due for a service at this time as it has been one year since the last service. Other then that the car is in good running condition.

The transmission is very quite and shifts very well and clean. There is NO reverse noise at all. I come to a complete stop before shifting in to reverse.

High vehicle milage means the car has been driven and had lots of love. The car doesn't burn excessive oil, about a liter every 12000 km or so. I have been on top of all maintance that it has needed and have full records from my ownership. Also, it is a 19 year old car. I have seen newer vehicles with far much higher odometers then this.

Cheers, Brian

In September 2012, I drove to San Francisco, CA from Vancouver, BC Canada for the first Waterwerx on the Bay car show. That was 2500 miles round trip and in town driving. That would explain the real low l/100km or high MPG.

I know you're selling but...

Hi - Pardon me for intruding on your sale thread but I am selling my 97 Passat TDI wagon for parts in Vancouver and I'm getting pretty weak offers for salvage value - I just thought I would mention it to you in case you wanted some bits and pieces for your car before you sell it or know someone who does. Just a thought. Thanks.
