Just got back from my first big roadtrip in our new 2015 GSW TDI. Really very pleased at the fuel economy on this trip. I was cruising the entire trip there and back at 76mph, with occasionally braking down to 70 or accelerating up to 80. 2 adults, 2 kids in car seats, trunk/boot packed to capacity.

Hand calculated, got 44.7mpg worst tank and 46.1mpg best tank (filled about 10.5 gals each fill up). My GSW only has 3500 miles on the clock, so can’t wait to see how the mileage improves as it gets broken in.

Sounds good to me.
