TDI speed record

I was driving across the office parking lot the other day and my GPS unit went crazy. My max speed was showing 209 mph. Don't know if it got hot or there's bug. Funny none the less. What's really funny is showing my friends and asking them to "top that" in a four cyl. Diesel.

Yeah, but could it do it in both directions??

I hit about 900 when I went under a bridge one time. Should have taken a picture of it.
