I bought this at IAAI - last week - i did not go inspect it in person , ran out of time. These are the pictures from Iaai.
To my surprise - when i picked it up - the bumpers were inside the car. Along with hardware that had been removed.
I drove it around for 2 days , enjoying the 6 speed manual as my Golf TDI SEL is DSG -
I bought this Sportwagon, knowing our 2015 Tiquan lease is up soon. So i was thinking , ill put the wife into my Golf Tdi , ill drive this manual TDI and the world will be all good. My wife is 5 ft nothing and now after driving my Golf TDI - wants to buy out her Tiquan cuz she feels " taller " in it.
So here is the sportwagon for sale. I bought a local driver headlight for it.
Today , in the 90+ degree heat - i " tossed " back on the front / rear bumper , headlight , grill.. ( i did not bolt down the front / rear bumpers )
The core support has broken mounts where the headlight bolts too.
This car needs a Driver front door ( i found 2016 sportwagon silver one for $700 shipped ) New driver fender $180 OEM dealer , bumper cover $405 OEM DEALER. Rear quarter panel on driver side , repaired , inner lower rocker of driver door , rear bumper cover got caught on the edge, but its not cracked. Hood has front lip damage, grill is broken.
I am going to list it as is $8000 as it sits at my car lot. I will probably attempt an ebay run with it next week if i dont get immediate interest.
