2.5 DSG cs TDI DSG

Anybody experienced with DSG transmissions on MK5S, to tell me is there any difference on the internal parts. My driveshaft broke and holed the case on my TDI. I can weld the hole but think some internal parts are damaged. Thank you.

In the US 2.5L cars don't have DSGs. They have an Asian 6 speed conventional automatic. I doubt any parts are interchangeable.

2.0 turbo gassers

What about 2.0T gasses or anything else?

I believe the GLI with the 2.0T has a DSG, as does the CC 2.0T. GTI automatics are DSGs. There are probably others but those are the ones that come to mind.

Thank you for the info. Will look for a 2.0T car at junkyard. Need to find some parts once I get the transmission open up. Hard to find TDI cars.
