More 2015 TDIs to hit?

I asked my dealer if VW has more that will go to dealers and they yes he thought so. Is he wrong or do you think more cars will hit dealer lots. It generated nice sales so maybe sell the dealer stock first then release the balance of the cars. Looks like it was about 11-12k cars total is that accurate?

The stop sale hit to the end of Sept.

normally these would be (and were) left over previous year production that did not sell when they first got to dealers.

in a bit, we should, however, see some of the purchased-back cars for sale.

...and don't forget any dealer "certified" used (2015 TDIs) units that were on lots in Sept'15 also, although I suspect most dealers would have chosen to sell them over the past 18 months as "un-certified", just to unload them.

Ok thought dealers had a choice to either keep and maintain or send back to VW the new ones. Could've been a BS sales pitch

How about 2016 TDI'S. ..while they share the same engine and emission systems of 2015s, why they can't be released for sale?

I was told whats on the ground once sold will be all. Whatevers at the ports will be scrapped and or sent back.

I was told that info has been sent to dealers about them ordering the buyback '15;s. Take it with a grain of salt.
