Hello All,

I am hoping that you can help me out with an issue. I was driving to a wedding and my low oil light kicked on. I stopped and checked the oil and it is low but still reading on the stick. All of the Audi dealerships close to were I am are closed. Is there any oil that anyone can recommend that I can buy at an auto parts store? I really don't want to drive home with that level at the current level but if I have too, will I be alright?

If the level is still on the stick, the light likely did not come one due to the slightly low level.

If you can find any 5w40 or 0w40 synthetic oil, you will be fine to top up.

Are you sure you read the dipstick correctly?

Thank you, for the information. I was able to track down some oil. I ended up having to add two quarts. Supposedly it was fully serviced before I bought it a month ago. I am having the dealer check it over to make sure everything is ok. I appreciate everyone's help.
