I've only had my (stock) '02 Jetta for a little under a month and in 10 seconds I managed to rip off my entire lower front valance cover.
I had no time to do anything about it so I threw it in the trunk and continued on to work. The next day I notice one of the fog light vent panels(?) had been sacrificed to the freeway gods.
This just gets worse...
It looks like I need to replace the vertical pieces that hold all that together and even in front of the tires there are groves worn all the way through.
All this from getting to close to a curb? Really?
So how hard is it to replace all this stuff and what's the cost going to be?

Thanks.
It looks like a lot is there. The second link might be the side skirts. Not sure yet.
If I can, I'll add some pictures here. Not going to be pretty, though.

Those are many of the part(s) you're looking at.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the vertical pieces that hold it all together", though... Side skirts?

i would search craigs and salvage yards. parts are oem and sure to fit. lots of pieces, such as hood latches, are china junk and break. heard the same about front plastics not fitting good enough.
depends if you find the right color but until painted, spray on a coat of plastidip. peel off when ready and get it painted.
the parts where the grooves are worn through are the fender liners.
