I've been noticing some problems with my 02 jetta and I'm wondering if they could be related.
Symptoms:
-For the second time in a month my CEL came on and the code was P0670 (glow plug code). Outside temp was ~40f. My fuel filter has 11k on it, but I'm going to change it out since I have an extra and that was a suggestion in the past for the P0670 code.
-I've had an ongoing problem, while slowly excellerating once i get between 45-50mph (typically closer to 50) the car shutters until I excellerate beyond 50mph. The shutter feels like I'm running over a short rumble strip. When the card shutters nothing odd happens with the tachometer. If I'm paying attention and I excellerate at a "moderate" or fast pace through 45-50mph the car doesn't shutter. The trans is an FDB.
Any thoughts.
