Good Luck in Richmond
I'm sure there is a good mechanic but not sure where. I went to Brown's for a while but when they replaced the heated seat switch (passenger) because of a recall it went from working fine to not working. Then they suggested it wasn't really working before and I would have to pay for them to figure that out. At Westside i sacrificed the first year of my son's college tuition on the 80K service and timing belt. A week later the intercooler hose came off because they busted the clip that holds it in place. I did 90K by myself and am about to do 100K. With luck i will gain experience and be able to keep going without the dealers. (This site and VAG-com are essential.)
