Turbo upgrade 2,5 I5 Tdi?

The turbo (kkk k14) in my 1995 Audi A6 2,5 (I5) Tdi is worn, and has to be replaced. I have PP502 nozzles.

Is there an upgrade available for this turbo? I would not like to sacrifice spool up time, and it would have to be "plug and play".

A local company sells a kkk k14 with larger compressor wheel. How good option is that?

Will my bigger nozzles help light up the turbo, so I do not loose spool up time?

I would highly recomend skipping the plug and play and get a decently sized VNT in there. Tough I dont know for sure hom much space you have there I'm pretty sure a gt2256v (if you want instant spoolup and decent power) or something larger could be fitted there with reasonable work. The hard part tough is controlling the VNT mechanism. I'm not sure if Aligator could make a remap for you that had the VNT controll in it.

I would be very interested too as i have a Volvo 850 which is the same engine in transverse mounting.
