AoA extends HPFP warranty 10/120k

Not that I have my A3 anymore, this is something I figured if happened my local dealer would not help me with out of warranty. Just received the paper work in the mail, keep a lookout for the mailing

Got mine yesterday as well.

VW trying to wash their hands of the hpfp issue/non-issue, depending on who you talk to. They may still extend goodwill past 10/120.

Hmm. The only thing I got was the 'fuel filler' retrofit notice.

Is this only for the older A3's? I didn't get one of these letters I have a 2013 A3 TDI.

SoSo, I asked the dealer when I took it in for the ECU reflash and they gave me the line that the 2013's have the new and improved HPFP and it doesn't apply. So until a number of 2013 HPFP implode we aren't included!

Oh my!

This was news to me, so I just contacted VW and they are emailing me a warranty extension letter. Thanks for the info. My HPFP cratered earlier this year at 48K and they replaced it with no hassles. But the warranty extension definitely makes me feel better.
