eng. temp normal but temp cel and no cluster guage new developments
My coolant cel is on, my cluster temp guage is flat zero. I changed the coolant sensor with a good one and also the reservoir. The engine runs normally. Any ideas? cluster works fine except for fuel guage which is also flat zero. All fuses seem good. 109 relay is good. I can live with the fuel guage down but the temperature guage is serious. Could it be the ECU? I have a Vag Com and am open to any suggestions. Oh, it is a 2002 Jetta assembled in Mexico. Thanks
New development: we just put a direct ground to the reservoir and the coolant cel went off. Scratching head does not help.
New development #2: we grounded the fuel level sensor and the instrument cluster temperature guage started to work. Now how to get the fuel guage to work, ground the coolant sensor?
