tdi into a nissan K line problems

I have installed a 1998 TDI AHU into my 1993 nissan D21
First runs seem good but I can't get vagcom to connect
I have the k line but not sure about the ground so i used chassis ground also not sure about a pull up resistor on the k line

power ground and grey/white K line...that's all you need.... did you connect power?

I think my vagcom may have a problem
I checked with a scope and when i power on the kline is active
I will check it out

You need power on Pin 16, Ground on Pins 4&5 and K line on Pin 7.
