Hoping someone in the Markham-ish area has VCDS and would be willing to help me out in exchange for beer, cash, or the warm feeling helping others gives you. I'm having a P1557 code (Positive boost deviation) on my 2000 Jetta with ALH. The turbo Actuator was replaced recently by the mechanic who did my timing belt and he checked my vanes for proper movement, I replaced the non-return valve with a new unit, swapped the N75 with a lightly used one, and the code still comes up intermittently. Hoses have been checked and ziptied on for proper fitment. The only thing about the hoses is that I bought generic ones without the cloth braiding, not sure if it mattered or not but I couldn't find the braided. TC VW said they could order for $15 a meter and I balked.
