Did VW recall the PD glow plug recall?

Ah. You all think it might be best to change to steel plugs and ride around with a code, or change just any faulty plugs as they croak. I'm asking because I'm throwing a code for GP #3.

the reflash is buggy , definitely. I had an injector misfiring , the codes were stored but the CEL never came on.
Will see how the emmisions inspection will like that

Glow plug recall

I called VWOA last week after reading a few threads on this issue. The rep on the phone confirmed what you guys are saying. There IS an issue with the new program flash. They have temporarily suspended the recall until they re-write new code. I was assured the recall WILL be re-instated, just not sure when. Kepp checking with your local dealer, and when their computer shows the recall due for your VIN# you're good-to-go.
