SF/Bay Area Injector/Nozzles - Aligator Tuning GTG on June 24th

Ok, this is the real deal! The focus of the GTG is to learn and perform nozzles swaps. Charlie from Kerma will be on hand to perform chip tuning as well on the 24th. Of course the BBQ will be available and I promise better burgers this time around. Same location as last time. Come early to let your engines cool off.

Date: June 24th, 2007 (oops, my wife's birthday)

Location: 1034 Broadway, San Pablo - accross from Thomas Sports Tuning

Time Gates open: 9:00am

Lunch Time: BBQ gets fired up at 12:00 noon

Carwash (hose, bucket, soap) available for those that have nothing to do while waiting for their engines to cool.

Sunscreen: reccomended ... ask Regina and Jonathan, well I was burned as well.

Im in! Bring lots of water too and a Vag-Com if you have one. Here is Zippy's tool list copied from our previous thread:
17mm wrench and injector slide hammer puller from metalnerd (bottom two tools)
*note: I have both of these tools but if we are all doing injectors It might be nice to have another set to work with. I ALSO HAVE BRAND NEW PP357'S FROM BLEACH BORA that are at the old the price of $285 and I need to sell them so if you are looking for them, pls get them from me.
q-tips
needle nose vice grips
canned/compressed air
stanadine
VICE
15 mm deep socket
torque wrench
replacement fuel lines (in case stock ones are dead or leak)
spray bottle with water and dish soap
rags/shop towels
injectors
copper 0-rings
long screwdriver (any head - long shaft used to seat o-ring)

put me down for more Taco Salad. I'm so in it for the car wash too - i'll need a way to get all the diesel off my fingers after helping to install all those nozzles... unless i'm riding up on two wheels... then that's a different story.

Volunteer Demo

Hey great news, Zippy. I guess we will all be there early and let the cars cool off, have some BBQ and then get'rdone. As I have said, I have hammer tool and funny looking 17mm wrench from metalnerd. I would like to volunteer my car to be the first demo car so Zippy can show us how its done and then all are welcome to borrow my tools. Just an idea. Speaking of tools. Derek is missing is brand new socket handle with the scanner tag still on it "craftsman" after our last GTG. He was kind enough to loan the tools out and it would be great if he got it back. Can you all check your kits and get back to me. If not, we will have a ******* type inspection of all tool boxes at the next one. ;)
Additional note: The Rocketship GTG with Jeff will be at Harv's in Fullerton on June 30th.

LOL - I'd love to have you out here for this man! It would rock! Maybe i'll send you the "recipe" as a birthday present!

If it's an A4 VE engine glowplug harness that need changing... ain't no big thang. Just a pain to get through the tape! bring extra high heat resistant electrical tape if you're gonnaswap out your harness!

C'mon guys, who else wants in!? :D

I've been pondering a chip and nozzle upgrade on my 98 jetta, when is the event? I'm new to these things, what do I need to buy, a chip? some injectors? I'm and IT guy and not good with a wrench, but I would be more than happy to bring beer and whatever else is needed.
