I have a 2003 VW jetta tdi 1.9L ALH. It just recently has been starting to have a really hard time to start in cold weather of around -10°C or more if left overnight. Once started and warm will starts no problem or if I put a heater on the engine for a few hours.After cranking the engine over 10 times it will start with lots of shaking and puttering. Check engine light came on after a few of these rough starts and once had to blead the fuel lines to get it started. Wondering what it could be. Is it possible timing is off by a little?
Some electrical problems as well and obd2 is not working. Battery is getting drained if left sitting 2 days, battery is good. Steering wheel buttons, horn and air bag not working either.
If anyone has any ideas of what these problems could be it would be appreciated.
