Long overdue. When I get a spare hour or so I will refresh the excel sheet and re-host it.

Finally got the GTI TDI out to Sacramento Raceway yesterday after work & got some 1/4 mile numbers. I launched in 1st gear & don't slam into each gear, this is my daily driver & I want to be nice to it. Best time was 14.658 @ 94.757 MPH with a 2.278 60 FT time.

The fastest trap was 95.255 MPH on a 14.721 sec run with a 2.351 60 FT time. Here are the videos of that:

This was my first time drag racing. The car is faster than this but I was not. I had a topped off fuel tank and I lifted on this run to try and slow down. I was in the 16.5 second bracket and I lifted on this run so I tried not break out. I also need to find my best shift points and work on the launch.
Fastest trap speed: 84.69 MPH

A friend of mine did a 12.81 sec @ 179 km/h 1/4 mile pass last week.
Golf 1 with 288 hp, lsd, ported head, 2260, 5 speed MK1 golf.
Other friend 13.043 with leon Cupra4 PD150 310 hp and 560 nm.

At what rpm do you guys change gears?
I have a Golf mk5 1.9 TDI 5 speeds, just software done, best 400m time - 16.9s.

Just a little improvement. 15.54 / 96mph. +200hp+400nm

I'm now only going if the weather forecast is looking OK. I'm not wasting 500 miles of diesel to pay £15 to sit in the rain watching an empty/closed quarter mile.

Went to the last RWYB at Santa Pod today. Bad conditions -Raining (on and off so racing was stop/start), Very Cold so track was not nice and only managed to get 2 runs in as the track was so busy (queuing all the way to the end of the 2 lanes, anoyne who has been to Pod will know thats pretty far back!)

Not got a print to hand, but here are the times:

So we made a 0.5 second improvement on last time, not bad for the first run of the day! Still no NOS either! We rekon we will get it into the high 12's, maybe even mid 12's with NOS. The car has done 108mph terminals before.

Think we need to update that log Jason?

Do I sense a bit of copy/pasting from Facebook update? Having a crack at updating now. I've moved up to number 5 now. I also think I might have the fastest ET though. Still not sure about the 116mph claim.

This is awesome! I like how you have all the mods so you can get an idea of what has to be done to reach each milestone.

Just wanted to point out my TDI is an 09 CR CBEA 2.0L, instead of 1.9L shown on list. thanks!

I think I took a guess at that. Will update on next list change. What's your HP too.
