Hey guys,
I want to tune up my 1.9tdi 1Z to around 170 - 180hp. I have fully upgraded engine, forged conrods, ceramic coated pistons, lighter flywheel, 0.216 nozzles, 12mm bosch pump, ported and polished head. Now I want to ask you guys for a help. I need a turbo but i don't now from which car or turbo code. I have seen many KKK K14 conversion, VNT conversions. Let's clear all this, I don't want VNT turbo! I want simplest turbo upgrade.

ALH 388bhp, Polo 6R 2.0TDI CR GTC1752VZ
Stock 1z engine with 0.260 nozzles, gt2052 wg turbo and tune can do 170-180hp.

2005 Passat daily, a bunch of others in the graveyard out back...
simplest may not be cheapest...

But you can buy an 8v t25 pattern manifold and bolt on a variety of turbos. Holsets (he200/211/221), Garrets(alot...), some mitsubishi TD series, etc

still need to work out downpipe/exhaust and the intake piping but you need to do that with literally anything other than a K03/04 hybrid which just isnt nearly big enough for your goals.

lastly is the tune, or an MTDI swap: Your choice, as they will be similar in cost, but not in labor time... It depends on whether you want to rely on a tuner and working within their comfort zone and time frames - or if you want to tinker and tune the pump yourself.

Gt2052s is wg turbo.

Anorher option is KKK K16 from atego or Holset he211w / he221w.

Also I have IHI VF35 (Subaru STi) turbocharger, can i fit that as i saw that holset sells same turbo for gasoline and diesel engines
