I'm looking into a 2010 VW Golf TDI 2.0L (automatic) with 113,000 miles on it. The only thing is it has an issue when it accelerates. It seems to be very jumpy when accelerating on first and/or second gear. Seems to get better when the engine is warm. The dealer took it in to VW and they said it was fine and within normal limits. I contacted another VW repair shop where the previous owner had it serviced regularly and they did have record of him taking it in for this issue around 90,000 miles but decided not to have it diagnosed or fixed. I have seen other posts with similar issues with 2010 TDIs, but have seen no posts with a fix or anywhere that says what the problem can be.
I absolutely love the car and this is my only source of hesitancy--I don't want to buy a car and immediately have to put repair $$ into it.
Has anyone had this issue and know what the deal is?
