My fix for dragging brakes

I had the brakes drag twice since mid december on my wifes 2003. I (stupid) stripped a guide pin on the second attempt to fix (inspect). Thanks to WINGAMAN (Quebec member) who installed an helicoil in no time. This guy knows these VWs. After thinking, I noticed that the dragging was in the front only so my conclusion was, can't be the brake booster. Speaking with WINGAMAN who acknowledged, it was caused by CHEAPO front pads from China that were rusted so much that they could hardly slide on the carriers. Replaced all 4 corners with original pads and rotors and VOILÀ, it's like new again.
