Hi guys, searched the entire form found a couple posts but nothing concreate.

My dash has the bulb light on and rear light will not come on nor will the turn signal work. However the mirror and front turn signal works. Changed bulb no go..

Local guru told me something about the ground wire on these cars is a common issue to fix.

Anyone run into this issue or has a solution?

Thanks

? check for a broken wire in the harness that runs by the hinge of the trunk on the driver's side?

Mine has a couple wires in bad shape. I repaired the one that was broken, I need to get to the other one soon...

My problem was the trunk interior light wasn't working, and the trunk release was dead.

Do you have VCDS?
I'm wondering what the fault code in the central electronics controller reads it as.
Had one that was a bear to fix like that.

Hi guys, thanks for your questions.

Update. I unplugged the main plug from the rear bulb housing, checked to make sure it was getting power form a test light and it is.

2nd, checked all fuses all seem to be good.

Only thing I have not checked is the ground cable/wire as i don't know which one it is.

Any more ideas before i send the car to the shop?

Greatly appriciated.
