Hello, I've got some electrical problems on my 2006 Jetta TDI (00446 for example) and I just moved to Chicago so I have no idea who to bring it to.
The issues I've been having are intermittent (stalling at stop, all dash lights coming on and wonky acceleration, etc) and two different mechanics now haven't been able to pinpoint the issues. Neither of them were VW specialists, but I figured they'd be able to find a shorted wire somewhere that I couldn't see.
I'd really like to keep this car (had since new, 200k miles - runs great otherwise), but I need to find someone to figure it out.
Any suggestions for a new Chicago transplant? I live in the Bridgeport area, so the closer the better.
