Kia Brakes

My girlfriend needs brakes (pads & rotors) for her 2012 Kia Forte. I've never done brakes other than for my A4 Jetta. Where do people buy brake parts for non vws? Brands to look for?

Price the dealer first. They may be competitive and you know you'll at least get the same quality it had from the factory.

I look at RockAuto for a lot of parts and then research the quality of the brands available.

Yeah- dealer, RockAuto, Partsgeek, NAPA etc.

Thanks for the recommendations! She didn't have the patience for my schedule so she just had the inspecting mechanic do the work. Labor only ending up being $110 for all new rotors and pads, which is a lot more reasonable than I expected her to report.
