2000 Jetta TDI - ABQ, NM - 5 Spd. Low Miles, Tons of Maintenance

Hi all,

Back in January I purchased this TDI in Florida, where it had spent all it's life.
I knew the car needed a new clutch as well as some other issues. (Turns out it would need a lot more than I thought!)

Entire engine replaced a month ago. Took a 2001 TDI (11MM) with 110,000 on it and put it in my car. I have paper (reciepts) and pictures to prove this.

Car starts and runs great, currently no issues.

Recent Maintenance:
* 10K < - Diesel Geek 100K Timing belt kit
* 5K < - New Clutch, pressure plate, flywheel - SMF VR6
* 1K < -New Slave Cylinder
* 1K < - Power steering fluid flush with CHF11F
* 1K < - Oil and filter change (Rotella T6, MANN filter)
* 1K < - New Fuel Filter
* 1K < - New Coolant Temp Sensor
* 1K < - New Glow Plug Harness
* 1K < - New driver side CV/Drive axle
* 1K < - Brake/Clutch fluid flushed and replaced.
* 1K < - New Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF)
* 1K < - New Starter
* 1.5K < - New Front left wheel bearing
* Coolant Flush (G12)
* Tranmission fluid flush (Synchromesh)
* 11MM Injection pump
* Intake/EGR and Turbo were all taken off and cleaned thuroughly prior to install.

Body is in great shape, no rust, one or two minor dents. Some paint scratch/peeling.
Tires in good shape, 75% or more tread.

Forgot to mention that I have 8 Tires and 7 rims going with this car as well as a set of Bilstein TC suspension (not installed).

4 X 15" steel wheels + tired... 3 X Wolfsburg RX-II rims with 4 X 16" tires

Just to Recap. Body and transmission (5SPD) have 270,000 miles on them. Engine has 110,000 miles on it. Clutch has 5,000 miles on it.

Another bump

Just installed a JVC reciever with CD / Aux input for Ipod. Also put in Kenwood 300W speakers in front. Sounds great!

I also have a set of 16" Wolfsburg rims and tried that will go with the car.

Here is a picture of the Wolfsburg Rims. I have 4 rims, but one of them is slightly bent. I was told I could get it fixed, but was too cheap to pay the 125.00 to fix it. Thinking I could pick up one at a junkyard or here on TDI club for much cheaper than 125.

They are Plastidipped and include all caps and bolts. Also 4 tires.

Just to be clear, you get 8 Tires and 8 Rims...

Car had a pre-purchase inspection done. They said it's in great mechanical condition, but the tire rod ends are cracked and will need replacing. Also alignment is slightly off.

It's not a perfect car, mostly cosmetic issues. But it's a good price for a car with no rust and only 110,000 on engine....

Still for sale... Just replaced 1 bad glow plug and one relay that was causing intermittent AC issues.

AC blows cold and no CEL's... Only asking 3,500 ... Yet I see cars with blown turbo's and more miles selling in one day for 2,500.

What's the deal? Might keep this instead...

The $2500.00 car took over 3 weeks to sell. I still plan to buy your's as soon as I can get my car sold! Grr I have had every one and their mother looking at it, but everyone is a bunch of broke dick and can't come up with the money lol.
