Seeing that we have no separate Scangauge forum, I thought this might be the more appropriate thread.
Searching the web, I found a few settings to create new Xgauges.
Two are not quite accurate. This is what I found.
Boost pressure
TXD: 07DF0170
RXF: 054186700000
RXD: 3810 (4810 for 2015 model year)
MTH: 00910BB8FF64
Name: BST
At sea level, the last four digits of MTH have to be adjusted if not at sea level.
Does someone know which way to adjust FF64 and to what, at 700' above sea level?
The MAP (Boost) gauge is not working in the 2015, but it did in my former 2002 Jetta. I had a boost gauge in my Jetta and it would go to no higher than 25 lb.
The passat under heavy acceleration barely hits 18 lb.
Horsepower (Diesel)
TXD: 00
RXF: 400080000000
RXD: 0000
MTH: 000A024000
Name: HPR
Running at highway speeds it barely shows 20HP.
Judging by the boost adjustment, I'm assuming it might be the MTH setting of 4000 ?
Any idea what to change for higher reading.
Thanks for any help offered.
