Long story here but no need to tell the whole thing....
*
After much mental gymnastics I realize I need to let my baby go.
As the title states I have a 2004 TDI.
*
Brief synopsis:
My son ran it into a parked car 2 1/2 years ago. I convinced the insurance company to total it and let me buy it back so I can fix it. Too much going on to fix it but everything is there to do so sans the bumper cover and possibly the hood. The car has been sitting next to my lift getting passed by.

White 4 door 5 Speed

The good:
150k miles. I'm the second owner.
Ran and drove straight after wreck.
Cam and lifters done by guru club member Oldpoopie (Justin Grow)
TDI Tuning chip
new turbo with less than 200 miles. (wrecked the week after I did it)
newer axles
newer lift pump
New wheel bearings in rear recently
New control arms with audi TT bushings
Skid plate
17" BBS wheels
Stock wheels with newer studless tires
Bilstein Sports
HR springs
The most amazing leather recaro seats in a golf.
Nice after market deck
Roof rack
Lovingly cared for and maintained until it was taken off road.
*
The bad:
It needs to be put back together. I will deliver in local area for free.
Springs and shocks need to be put on.
New brake cables included and need to go back in.
New rear calipers included and need to back on.
Seats are out.
Seat belts driver side need to be installed
May need a hood. You decide.
Car can be inspected pretty much anytime. I have a lift and can show you whatever you want. I tried to best represent what's here. I can tell you the seats alone are worth the price. Buy the seats and get a free car with a killer drive train!

Bottom line I don't see finishing this and it bums me out looking at it. It is and has been stored indoors in a heated shop, and was garaged it's whole life. I've had 2 really experienced body guys tell me it's a straight forward repair and have them lined up to fix it. I'm ready to move on though.
*
I just want to get out of it what I have in it. I bought fenders, core support, new dash and airbag controller (installed), seat belts, brakes for rear, fender liners and plastics all to put back it back together. I've put some cash out plush paid to buy back.
*
It's worth fixing!

It makes me sick looking at it everyday. It is a sweet ride. I want it gone before I get tempted again.
