Exterior
- Panzer Plate Aluminum Skid Plate
- THULE Square Cross Bar Roof Rack (58" square bars)
Engine
- Doggie collar installed
- Newer VW Battery 155 K (01/19)
- Stock 100 HP no modifications
- Timing Belt due at 180K
- Used Castrol SLX 5W-30 for 30K, Mobil1 ESP 5W-40 for 70K, Mobil1 TDT 5W-40 for 10K, and now using Pentosin SP2 5W-40 for 50K, with Mann oil filters, VW air at 40K inteval, /fuel and cabin filters at 20K intervals.
- Used Power Service Gray and White fuel additives
Suspension
- Billstien TC struts (Front and Rear) at 126K
Brakes
- Bled at 45K and 90K using VW DOT4 fluid
- Front and rear replaced (110K and
Wheels
- 15” x 6” Jarama (Golf TDI) with Michelin Premier A/S (36K
on them) Full size spare Michelin Energy on steely
- Spare set of (4) Avus 15" X 6"
Overall Condition of the Car:
Interior
- Interior is clean and in reasonable condition will some door card panels currently need reglue.
- VW Jetta Mud Matts included
- Glove box lid replaced with new VW parts
- No holes in seats, CD player quit a while ago.
- Headliner needs to be re-glued to backer, crayon odor...
- Some minor rattles that can fixed with some patience
Exterior
- Small dings on bottom of front lower grill, and grill insert missing passenger side.
- Paint is still in reasonable condition for its age with minor pealing of clearcoat, no rust at all.
Mechanical
- Current Missouri Emissions/Safety Inspection Passed
- Starts and runs strong, original clutch and turbo
- Oil consumption ~0.5-1 qt. per 10K/change interval
- Handles OK and is soft ride stock suspension
- No Engine Lights or Warming Lights are on
- Major work:
- 100K Mile Timing belt kit at 80K
- EGR Pipe and Cooler, Glow Plug#4 replaced at 91K
- Ignition switch replaced at 94K
- Front Brakes at 110K
- Struts replaced at 126K
- Tandem Pump and Fuel Vent Hose replaced at 140K
- Alternator Pulley replaced at 160K
Major work performed by TDI guru at Car Doc in St. Louis. I performed most oil changes and filters following VW maintenance schedule. Mostly highway driving (65%)
Comes with 2 key fobs, Service Key and original VW manual.
