Is it just me or is there a trick to removing the 2 partly hidden bolts near the fly wheel?
I've tried several small ratchets and attachements still no luck.
Its not leaking badly like the egr but its on the top of my to-do list.

thanks Kevin

I get those with a ball-end 5mm allen headed socket. A complete set can be purchased from Harbor Freight for about 10 bucks. If you need it now, an there isn't a HF local, a bicycle shop will have one.

A ball headed 5mm Allen head driver. And make sure it doesn't slip. 1/4" drive 10mm socket with a ball end extension is another idea.

The tools that make getting those last two bolts out are not cheap. ;)

The ball headed 5mm allen comes in a 1/4" driver. They do make ball ended extensions that allow some "wobble" in place of a u joint.

Or just get the long 5mm ball head allen key and put a cresent on the short end. Much cheaper and gets 'er done.

+1 on aNUT's post. Be careful as IIRC the bolt actually has a torx fit, but the ball allen does the jorb, well enough. I remember the same exact feeling of failure only to be replaced with a smug feeling of success loosening those two b_stards with a ball allen...

Allen...not torx. I got mine off with a u-joint, but it wasnt real easy. Ended up getting the ball-end allen set to put them back in. Just put a crescent wrench on it to torque them down.

I shoulda checked. They changed the bolt style on the ALH. MY AHU is all 10 mm hex with a torx center.

Sorry for the incorrect information.
