Our 115 bhp GT-TDI has consumed five rear axle bushes in three years and 60,000 miles. One of the originals was replaced at 40000,and was in turn replaced at 47000 miles, along withthe other bush. So far, they seem OK, but who knows?
We have run Sciroccos and Golf GTIs since 1975,and have never had to replace these bushes - has anyone else had this problem?
