So i found a 2015 sportwagon that has a malone tune and exhaust on it. My question is do you still have to use the 507 oil in it since there is no dpf or will a good synthetic diesel oil work.

You are free to choose a good oil without ultra low sulfur content (I think that is the only requirement for DPF). No warantee on the emissions system to worry about, so you can switch to another type. Stick with a good full synthetic for the engine. Unless anyone here has a good reason other than emissions, you can switch to Rotella T6 or something.

:)

I have the same setup, use Rotella T6 in mine.

Any synthetic turbo truck diesel oil will work, as long as you avoid brands like SUPERTECH, in my opinion.

I'm a HUGE fan of Mobil Delvac ESP (will post 20k UOA once I can edit it) and Mobil does some killer deals on it from time to time. I'm talking buy a gallon get $60 rebate kind of deal!
I have started looking at the Scheaffers product line as of late but the jury is still out on the 9000 for the non-DPF cars (but FranksTDI swears by it and I figured there must be something to it!) until I get some long run UOA done. I'm also running their 8008 mid-saps for my MY15 GSW TDI so hope to see improvements over my first 2 UOA's with the LL03.

*This is from my deleted 2009 MK5 Jetta NOT a MK7.

Here is some information on the addition analysis I posted above. I kind of forgot that I posted this in the UOA thread WAY back.

----------------------

Had to go back and look but the 111,498 was LL03, 121,817 was Mobil 1 ESP then my car lost a few parts around the 170k mark and I QUICKLY went back the Mobil 1 Delvac ESP. The 184,796 was the first run with Delvac in my CRD and I had run it in my 06 TDI so already knew how good it was. (*I actually had a 18k run on it in my 06 TDI)
