I figured that I would post this here as our Beetles are probably heavier and less aerodynamic than any thing else with the comparable TDI and probably wouldn't convert over to say, a golf and for the fact there is so little traffic I might as well add some.
I finally got to put pen to paper and hand calculate the fuel mileage on my wife's '13 Beetle after all the mods. We went to Eureka springs and went to the Ozark Euro Rally. We drove a total of 642.5 miles, which included ALOT of in town driving, quite a bit of twistier driving (anyone that has gone to Eureka Springs knows what I'm talking about) and the rest running 70 with the cruse on and AC. I got a hand calculated 45.56 mpg over the entire trip. I don't think that is to bad.
