The 2015 Golf shows only one DEF tank.

The 2015 A3 shows a VIN split, with the early one being the same as the Golf, the later one not (A suffix to B suffix on the part number).

No idea what the A and B difference is, but depending on VIN in may be the same as the Golf.

Also, my ETKA is no longer able to be updated, so this information may not be valid any longer.

Wow I have been trying to track this down for a little while now with no luck, i see i am not the only one looking. I have assumed it is 4 gallons like the golf. I gave up and just waited for the warning to come on and then filled the 2.5gallon jug and wait to repeat the cycle.

I bought one for an a3 that was built 11/14 so I assume that would be early one. we'll see if it works in the mk7 golf. What got smacked was the sensor in the bottom thats under the plastic cover on the right side. it has two wires going to it through a plastic sheathed 3/8 tube. Any idea what that sensor does?

The A3 tank fit the golf mk7 perfectly. no codes or adaptions needed.

Did you, or could you cut open the damaged unit to see how much DEF residue is crusted on tank and components?
