Golf rear leg room?

Does anyone know how Golfs compre to Jettas for rear leg room? It would be nice to have a measurement if the value is known.

I don't own a TDI yet, but I'm leaning toward a Golf. I have two small kids, but I plan to keep the car long enough that they will be fully grown.

I have a Golf and a Jetta, both MKIV's.
As for leg room, there is no difference, but the Golf does have more available cargo area when seat is folded down.

Check out some of the car websites like edmunds. They have the interior dimensions of most cars.
