I took a friend for a ride this past week and he was staring at my speedometer. He couldn't believe it read 300,450 miles. Original engine with only some head cleaning, new cam and lifters done. Still runs and drives perfect, no leaks, no rattles, and still gets 50 mpg. I tried to explain to him that many others have way more on their TDI's.

On my way home from work canaan Valley to Pittsburgh pa
Hit 360k
Then on my way home upper intercooler pipe blew off and fuc*ed my PS pump shaft all up. Time to fix pipe with a better setup/clamp maybe even a different boot and PS pump Gezz never ends.

I have nearly 320,000 on mine and still get 47- 51 MPG, and I'm not really that nice to her while driving. Mostly stock, EGR delete is thinly mod I've done.

Please chime in with your high mileage and the year of car!

415k miles here. Runs great but died on the way home today. Seems like the anti shutter valve. Original tranny too.

469,000 km 2003 Wagon and 332k on 2001 Sedan. Wagon just died and decided to not spend the money on resurrection, rust was getting a little too aggressive. Bought a 2005 Golf and figuring out what might be wrong with it. Pilfering parts from the wagon and a 2001 I have in the field. My Father-in-law got over 500k km on a rabbit. retired it because he didn't want to fix the windshield after the RCMP pulled him over and said he had to. It needed to be replaced. He just used it as a run around car.
