If you are using an adapter, there may not be a need for bell housing clearance using an upgrade such as that might fit a TDI Car. I really have no clue. But, any upgrade using the diesel bell housing will require minor grinding at two or three areas to provide clearance for either the G60 style SMF or the DMF. The DMF requires a midge more grinding for clearance. I've noticed that my DMF has been ever so slightly rubbing in just those areas I ground down. (tranny is out for maintenance at the moment)

Thanks for the input, I am running an adapter so it should be good. Sorry to the OP if I hijacked your thread!
