2008 rules, but I suspect that these should be close enough to use as a common sense guide.
I wasn't about to pay for the 2010 membership just to read that I shouldn't be barefoot....

Bah! you totally could race. Plenty of time in the morning to get a few runs in!
But then again.. I don't know if it would be safe for you to run... last time the beetle ruined the lane for everyone. Can the beetle handle it this time around.

Last time?!?!? LAST time?!?!? More like EVERY time.... New Beetle TDIs can't handle drag racing! It's proven!
2000, Wilmington, NC, TDIFest (no year denominator needed for the first one):
New Beetle developed wheelhop and blew the R&P.
Ten years later and they still haven't been able to compete without puking drivelines!

I plan to prove you wrong then.... After my car is fixed up from me forcefully removing the spider gears from the differential while the transmission was still installed in the car.

A quick G-tech test on an empty side road showed that I ran 16.92 at 84...
Well I guess I'd better just STFU and quit trash talking about Beetles....
Still, that's better than my best B4 time of 18.18.

You guys... I'm so sorry, but I won't be able to make TDI fest... or the racing. An urgent matter has come up and it requires my immediate attention.
This sucks, I was so looking forward to seeing you all again.
Those of you that have my cell #, I would love to see some pics, or texts of the race results... thanks!
I'm going to miss you!
