Hi:
I was just checking my air box while cleaning my snow screen. This is what it looks like from the hinged side:
I'm somewhat concerned about the filter edge being visible, i.e. the box not being fully closed.
The filter is with a felt pre-filter. I have tried to push the top portion of the air box more inside the hinged area and even push down to compress the filter edges. It did not change anything. I have tried with a regular filter without the pre-filter, and even tried to close the air box without any filter. The gap is still there.
I have checked the top of the filter and it's as new, no dirt in between the pleats. The inside of the air box top is also spotless and dirt free. I'm thinking it's ok, however, just wanted to get some feedback from members.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
