What is this set up under my hood?

Linked below are some pictures from under my hood. The previous owner had this installed. It’s leaking oil onto the skid plate. What is it exactly?

Looks to be a home-made catch can. That line coming out of the PCV is pretty kinked, might want to straighten that so the crankcase can breathe properly.
