B5.5 Passat TDI GLS Wagon w/ Manual Transmission
In a seemingly endless scrap heap of poorly maintained B5 or B5.5s, this is the diamond in the rough. 100% North Carolina history. Long history of 505.01 spec oil changes and manufacturer recommended timing belt interval changes with OEM parts
"Arguably the most beautiful Station Wagon built in the past 40 years"
The inherent problems have been addressed by a VW certified master tech: chain driven balance shaft trash removed before its imminent failure and replaced with OEM gear driven part VW put in later european PD TDIs. Auto tragic removed before failure replaced with a euro only code FHN 5-speed manual transmission, imported from the Netherlands ensuring proper Diesel gear ratio with single mass RS6 clutch ready for more power if you so choose.
Malone stage 2 tune
"these 2 fixes might very well deem this car bombproof"
EGR delete
Approximately 180k with a whole lot more left to go.
Exterior: properly maintained non fading intact clear coat on VW black, tinted windows, high gloss black 3m wrap on all exposed chrome.
Interior: Above average condition Beige interior with monster mats
Sunroof w/o leaks
Electrical all works correctly
Fun stuff:
W8 OEM HID with 6000k phillips light with halogen brights, VW OEM rheastat switch to control light leveling
custom HID fogs with 3000k light
All other bulbs switched out for properly resisted LEDs to ensure proper functionality
ST coil-overs with adjustable control arms for proper alignment and thick THOR aluminum belly pan to protect
19 inch 5 arm hook end wheels from a 2013 Q5, wrapped with ¾ life 235-35r19 continental extreme contact DWSs
Pics to come, if I can figure out how, little help?
$15,000

Though most forum software interfaces would lead you to believe you can "attach" images (or even files) those features are typically disabled.
To post pics you'll need to have them hosted online (TDIClub has a photos link to a gallery) and then link the images (either as links or embedded).
Hope this helps.
Thanks

I am pretty sure the other one that was priced similarly recently is either still for sale or was withdrawn....
