Touareg 2015 facelift 3.0 TDI 204hp

Hello all,

I have a 2015 euro 6 facelift Touareg having the 204hp engine. I just want to do a simple power upgrade changing only the software and I have the following questions:
1. What figures should I expect after the tuning?
2. What turbo does it have?
3. How hard it is to fit the 262hp turbo and are there any other differences engine and transmission related?

I have few almost new 200kw 3.0tdi turbos if you should need any.

Oe 272hp engine has gtd on it. Its the newest engine family

Yeah its understandable. You just cant be sure if the 262 touareg turbo is bolt on. What has be seen they are interchageable between 3.0tdi in same family. Whats the engine codes of those engines you are talking about

What does your tuner say? if you have one..his name?
You have the 2056vzk and the latest one has gtd2060 ..they seem interchangeable at first glance.
Buy one and let us know how it works out!

I don’t have a tuner just yet, I want first want see what turbo should I choose and I’m interested in something very reliable of 260-265hp, just like the OEM cvva engine.

I know that with my current turbo I can do something around 240-250hp, maybe I’m wrong but I plan on doing something that is as much as possible as the OEM.

[/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]gtb2056vzk and GTD2060vzk both carry the grease inlet and outlet on top but do not seem plug & play

Ok so who can confirm that the turbos from the 2015-2017 Touareg 3.0 TDI has the same turbo, GTD2060vzk, no matter the power output, 204 vs 262?
I’ve heard this from rub87, but I don’t think he was sure.
