All turned back to VW. Now a 2017 Hundai Tuscon. Not a single squalk in 10k miles.
Given the chance of so much being wrong, I think perhaps simple might be the answer...

1. Battery
2. Alternator Clutch
3. Alternator

( I'd place a small bet on the battery.)

Good Luck.

Brand new battery on it airbag control module has gone it's the abs tc can't get my head around the module told me that it needed coded. So I coded it now it tells me steering Angel sensor is faulty.

Brand new battery means that you had an old one in there a short time ago. When that many codes are present it’s usually because of a low power battery. Record them as you have done and clear them, see what comes back.

I hope you saved the values of whatever coding you changed. After clearing the codes that is probably the one that will come back. My guess is you will need to return it to whatever value it was before you changed it.

I bought the car like that the airbag control module had failed due to as you say battrie being flat and the prev owner jump starting it all the time. So I have removed the centre consel of the car to gain access to the airbag control module. The problem I have is with abs and tc also the steering wheel had been changed again by previous owner. The hand brake light flashes abs light lit up as is tc light. I changed only one code on abs as the module was incorrectly coded. I got another abs control module today same model as the one fitted was going to replace it today but don't know if it will make a difference

If the airbag light was on because of the battery. The code probably reads something about power interruption, all you need to do is clear a code like that, it shouldn't come back as long as the battery is now fully charged.

I don't think you understand what I am trying to say airbag control module is knackered. So hence the codes it was sent away for reconditioning. The abs is the problem I have no abs or TC code for steering Angel sensor cleared it came straight back also hand brake light beeping and flashing to tell me I have a majour fault with brakes

Ok understood about the airbag.

On the ross-tech website is the procedure for resetting the steering angle sensor, that might be all you need to do to get rid of the abs light. What is TC? Trouble code? Or an anti slip feature?

http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Tiguan_(5N)_Brake_Electronics

I selected ROW (rest of world) Passat but I may have the wrong year you may want to double check that. It looks like the Passat and the Tiguan share the same brakes but double check that.

Does your horn function? The steering angle sensor is usually integrated into the clock spring.

Did you disconnect the battery before swapping out the clock spring module?
