Rt turn signal blinking fast

The front right signal is not blinking. I was going to just replace the bulb when I noticed that the blinker light is on when the headlights are on - it just doesn't blink. The rest of the signals (side and rear) work, but blink at roughly twice the normal speed. I have to get the car inspected soon... I am trying to stay on top of this.

Is this a bigger problem than just replacing the bulb?

Don't worry ,just replace the bulb and it'll be OK.

I found out that the bulb was acting funny because one of the contacts burned up (somehow). The filament in the bulb itself was fine, but one of the contacts was carbon-ie.

I am not sure if this is caused by something else, I just like to close my threads with some results.
